Hello again dear blog world. I've been away for so long I'm having to re-acquaint myself with the process. I feel a bit like when you wake up suddenly form sleep and are in a fog for a bit. I'm sure it will clear and I'll be back up and running in no time. I hope I haven't lost you all in the mean time. I look forward to hearing from you again.

To all that stop by to linger here now and then. I'm taking a blog vacation. Weddings, move, internet issues and the like are getting in the way at the moment. Hope to be back in a few weeks with smatterings here and there in the mean time if I can manage it. I'll miss your company and look forward to returning as soon as I can.

friday my town shoot out - yard stuff

In a rather fancy part of town

where houses are tidy and proper

there are interesting things that adorn the yards

and this one is rather a show stopper

the victorian houses are many round here

their colors and details divine

but the pots in the front with their prickly plants

not exactly what you'd call refined
